Privacy Policy
Garden State Ledger Effective date: October 15, 2026 Last updated: October 15, 2026
Garden State Ledger ("we", "us", "our") operates the Garden State Ledger web application (the "Service"), a compliance tracking tool for New Jersey limited liability companies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have questions, contact us at: lovelyandlucky9@gmail.com
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you sign up, we collect your email address and name (if you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares with us: your name, email address, and profile picture).
1.2 Business profile information
You may enter information about your business, such as your LLC name, EIN, formation date, registered agent, business address, and New Jersey entity number. You provide this voluntarily so the Service can track your compliance deadlines and pre-fill state forms.
1.3 Documents you upload
If you use the document scanning feature, you may upload photos or files (such as a Certificate of Formation). We process these with an AI service to extract business details you choose to save. Uploaded documents are stored in your private storage area and are only accessible to you.
1.4 Gmail data (optional, read-only)
If you choose to connect a Gmail account, we request read-only access to your inbox. We use this access solely to:
- Search for emails related to your business filings (for example, messages from the IRS or the State of New Jersey), and
- Extract relevant details (such as your LLC name, EIN, or filing confirmations) that you can review and save to your business profile.
We do not send, delete, or modify your emails. We do not read your inbox for advertising, and we do not sell or share your Gmail data with third parties for marketing. Gmail data is accessed only when you ask the Service to scan, and only to provide the feature you requested.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1.5 Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with your subscription status, plan, and billing dates so we can manage your access.
1.6 Usage and technical data
We collect basic technical information needed to operate the Service, such as log data, error reports, and feature usage counts (for example, how many AI scans you have used in a month, to enforce plan limits).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide and operate the Service (deadline tracking, form pre-filling, document scanning, AI assistance, website generation)
- Process your subscription and manage your plan
- Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
- Respond to support requests
- Improve and secure the Service
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your business data, documents, or emails to train AI models.
3. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the following providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, and file storage
- Google — sign-in and optional Gmail access
- Stripe — payment processing
- AI providers (accessed through Lovable's AI gateway) — document scanning, email extraction, and the AI assistant
We share with these providers only the data needed to deliver the feature you are using.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your account and business profile data are kept while your account is active.
- Uploaded documents remain in your private storage until you delete them.
- Gmail connection credentials are stored encrypted and are deleted when you disconnect an inbox. We do not keep copies of your emails.
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing lovelyandlucky9@gmail.com.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage of connection credentials, and access controls that ensure each user can only access their own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email lovelyandlucky9@gmail.com.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email.
